Principal
Noel Beharis is a qualified legal practitioner with over 25 years professional experience. Noel has exceptional skills in taxation law and a high level of commercial awareness, having worked for top tier firms and private organisations for the duration of his well-regarded career.
Noel's distinguished career includes providing taxation advice for the listing of Slater & Gordon Limited, assisting Greyhound Australia Pty Ltd to restructure its business operations, advising on the sale of Buchanan Group, the Body Shop and Korda Mentha as well as undertaking the tax due diligence work on the various businesses acquired by those entities. Noel advises several large family groups both at a personal level and in relation to their business enterprises.
Noel is the chairman of the Victorian Tax Institute technical committee and is a regular speaker in several tax forums. Noel has been instrumental in securing test case funding and running a test case to the High Court of Australia for the deductibility of Player Agent fees and is consulted by the AFL Players’ Association and AFL Coaches Association on taxation issues that affect their membership.
